I have an idea.
Why don't we start treating worship as something God calls together, and not a place where we have to feel entertained; or fulfilled; or 'fed,' whatever that means?
It may come as a shock to quite a few people, that we are not here to meet their needs.

I second that emotion. Ha! Got here before you could change your post. ....
Worship is not really about us. And worship isn't just a Sunday morning thing either. Brother Lawrence found that menial tasks like washing dishes and cooking meals were living hymns done for the glory of God.
Ah, so true so true. What has worship become when it's about tradition, and not about God?? Does the tradition then become our God? And what, then, does that lead us to? And why can't we see it coming?
